A Compaq Contacts 5 in $300 Mil. Review
NEW YORK–The New York offices of incumbent DDB Worldwide, FCB Worldwide, Grey Advertising, D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles and Young & Rubicam have been contacted by the consultant Jones-Lundin Associates about Compaq’s $300 million global account, sources said. None of the agencies have obvious conflicts with the Houston, Texas, computer company. Grey handles Oracle, but a source said that Compaq and Oracle have had “partnerships” in the past and will announce another one soon.
A Cole Henderson Drake, Folks Part Ways
ATLANTA–Cole Henderson Drake here confirmed that it has parted ways with restaurant chain Folks, as the company focuses “on internal store and operational issues,” said agency head of planning Mike Tyre.
