Riney Ads Trumpet Saturn’s 3-Door
SAN FRANCISCO–Publicis & Hal Riney launched a national campaign yesterday to introduce Saturn Corp.’s three-door coupe. Spending for the campaign, which includes TV and regional newspaper ads, is estimated by sources at $40-50 million. Ads use the long-running tagline, “A different kind of company. A different kind of car,” created by the San Francisco-agency. Print executions announce: “The world’s first three-door coupe. From Saturn.” Television spots pose the question, “Why didn’t anyone think of this before?”
