Leap Downsizes in L.A. After DWP Loss
CHICAGO–Lack of business has led The Leap Partnership to fire three of the 11 employees in its Los Angeles office, which was opened in February with former staffers of TBWA Chiat/Day. The shop’s lone account, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, which hired Leap in July, has withdrawn its business following client management changes. Leap president Thomas Sharbaugh in Chicago will assume increased control of the L.A.
