Champion Mortgage Signs Martin Agency
ATLANTA—The Martin Agency has bested six undisclosed contenders to become the first agency of record for Champion Mortgage Co., a home equity lender. The national campaign from the Richmond, Va., shop will include broadcast, print, direct marketing and outdoor elements. Martin Interactive and Martin Public Relations will provide services as well. Billings are undisclosed. Champion is headquartered in Parsippany, N.J.
Houston Toyota Dealers Drive to Omni
ATLANTA—The Houston Power Team Toyota DealerAssociation has chosen Omni Automotive, an arm of Intermark Group, as its lead agency. The $7 million account represents 17 Toyota dealers in the Houston area, according to Intermark chief executive officer William M. Harville. Omni, headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., was pitted against incumbent First Impressions Marketing & Advertising of Oklahoma City, which handled the account for eight years. Omni is charged with media placement and creating print and broadcast advertising.
Williams Whittle Diversifies and Wins
ATLANTA—Williams Whittle Cos. have won billings in excess of $3 million. Williams Whittle Associates in Alexandria, Va., was appointed lead agency for Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham, Md. Broadcast, print and outdoor will break in the first quarter. Ignition, the shop's interactive unit, has won RealGrade.com, which lists, profiles and grades realtors by neighborhoods. Work for the crosstown client will bow in February. A new client of public relations arm Williams Whittle Rothstein is Phynova, a manufacturer of diet supplements for children.
Ant Farm Interactive Adds Web Client
ATLANTA—Ant Farm Interactive has been selected as interactive agency of record for The .tv Corp., a provider of online identity services and addresses ending in .tv. The Atlanta shop will manage domestic and international online media planning and buying, interactive creative services, and ongoing data analysis and reporting for the area client.
Media Stew Gains Online Assignments
ATLANTA—Media Stew has been awarded two Web site projects scheduled to launch in mid-February.Honeywell POMS Corp., a unit of Honeywell International in Herndon, Va., and Atlanta Plastic Surgery have signed the local start-up to design and build their respective Web sites. Combined billings are $110,000.

ATLANTA—Huey/Paprocki has acquired GolfClubExchange.com as a client. The Atlanta creative shop defeated a dozen local agencies for the account, which will include broadcast and print components.
Richards' 'Masters' in Super Bowl Lineup
DALLAS—Invesco Funds Group will introduce the third commercial in its "Masters of the game" series during the Super Bowl on Sunday. The spot, produced by The Richards Group in Dallas for the Denver client, features former football coach Bill Walsh.
