JWT Plans to Defend Princess Account

CHICAGO—J. Walter Thompson here intends to participate in a review for its $20 million Princess Cruises business, an agency representative said. The Los Angeles-based client sent out proposal requests last week, three months after Todd Putnam took over as vice president of marketing. Putnam was formerly a marketing executive at Coca-Cola and Procter & Gamble. JWT has in recent months been working on new brand concepts for the cruise line.
