BK Tests Ideas From Contending Shops

NEW YORK—Burger King has started to test campaigns created by contenders in the review for creative duties on its $400 million account. Competing for the business are Grey Worldwide and McCann-Erickson in New York and Campbell Mithun, Minneapolis. Each finalist has produced at least one campaign featuring the Whopper that will undergo several tests, sources said. The spots will be incorporated into a reel showcasing different brands to see if the Burger King work stands out among the “clutter,” sources said.
