Dole Packaged Foods Selects FinalistsLOS ANGELES--Dole Packaged Foods has named three finalists in the review for its $3 million advertising account. Agencies asked to make strategic presentations are incumbent Rogge Effler & Partners in Santa Monica, Calif., and Dailey & Associates and Mendelsohn/Zien, both of Los Angeles, said David Spare, Dole senior business manager for juices. The Advertising Agency Register in New York served as the review consultant assisting with the search. Dole Packaged Foods, based in Westlake Village, Calif., markets Dole canned pineapple, mixed fruit and juices.DMB&B Breaks First Gateway SpotLOS ANGELES--D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles will air its first TV work Wednesday for new client Gateway 2000. The agency won the estimated $130 million account in March after a review.
