Carmen Burgess has joined Horizon Media in Los Angeles as a senior buyer. Burgess, 44, was formerly a senior buyer for local broadcast markets at Carat in Los Angeles, where she spent the last 13 years. Her new duties will include negotiating TV, radio and cable time for clients like Jack in the Box, Quizno’s, Hyundai/Kia, Coors, Hardee’s and Pfizer.
