A product of Michigan State’s ad program, the Carmichael Lynch president was jazzed to see his Spartans repeat as NCAA hoop champs in Minneapolis last week. That was until Arizona tore State a new one, 80-61, in the semis. Suddenly, attending Monday’s final in the Metro dome (already reviled by fans for its poor sightlines) didn’t seem so appealing.

“I’m currently sitting on a pair of (nosebleed) tickets to tonight’s game that will go free of charge to the CLer who wins an easy essay contest,” Colasanti wrote to staffers the day of the game.
