DALLAS Rives Carlberg has picked up creative advertising duties for HomeVestors of America, the shop said.

The Houston agency was awarded the creative account following a review involving undisclosed contenders, according to a shop representative. The Dallas-based homebuyer and reseller previously handled creative duties internally. HomeVestors’ media account will stay in-house.

Rives has been charged with developing two national television spots, in addition to radio and outdoor elements. Targeting homeowners who are looking to sell their residences quickly and at a discounted rate, the first campaign is scheduled to break in the second quarter of 2005.
