Sid Holt, former managing editor of Rolling Stone, joins Adweek Magazines today as executive vice president and editor-in-chief.
Holt, 42, reports to Adweek Magazines president Mark Dacey and oversees the editorial direction of Adweek, Brandweek, Mediaweek, MC, Interactive Quarterly and Luxe, as well as the company’s online service.
“We serve markets that are so entrenched in consumerism that we think Sid’s interests and knowledge of popular culture will be a real asset to his leadership of our stable of properties,” Dacey said.
