Gary Resigns for Similar Position at Ciavarra
BOSTON–Ann Gary has joined 20-person Ciavarra Design here as general manager, reuniting with president Paul Ciavarra.
Gary previously served as general manager of Holland Mark Martin Edmund in Boston, which she joined four years ago as vice president, group account director.
Both Gary and Chris Colbert, president of Holland Mark, said her departure was amicable. A replacement is being sought.
For now, Holland Mark executives are filling in on the accounts she oversaw, including Ameritech and the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism.
Gary had no formal noncompete or nonsolicitation agreement with Holland Mark but takes no clients with her to Ciavarra, she said.
Tina Sutton, vice president of planning and research, left Holland Mark in October after less than a year to relaunch her own fashion marketing firm.
