For Devine & Pearson, charity begins on the highway.
Working pro bono, the Quincy, Mass., shop has crafted “Hospitality Hogs,” literally a pledge drive on motorcycles to support Foodchain, a Kansas City, Mo.-based hunger-relief network that obtains surplus food from restaurants and grocery stores.
More than 30 food industry executives–including McDonald’s vice president Bill Hallett and Peter Nordell, Edlund Co.’s vice president of global sales–plan to ride thousands of miles on motorcycles next month to raise more than $25,000 for Foodchain.
Teams will leave from Boston, Los Angeles and Ft.
