NEW YORK Hilton Hotels has selected WPP Group’s Young & Rubicam to handle creative duties on its estimated $40-50 million Hilton brand account, the client has confirmed.

Media duties were awarded to Omnicom Group’s OMD in Playa del Rey, Calif., the client said.

The other creative finalists were Omnicom’s TBWA\Chiat\Day in New York and GSD&M in Austin, Texas, Interpublic Group’s McCann Erickson in New York and the incumbent, IPG’s Foote Cone & Belding, which pooled resources from three offices: Irvine, Calif.,
