BOSTON WPP Group's Hill & Knowlton has installed Thomas Reno as general manager of the agency's New York office.

Reno joins H&K from Grey's GCI Group, where he was president of the New York office. Before GCI, Reno served as managing director of Makovsky & Co., where he ran the firm's corporate and financial practice from 1997 to 2000.
Reno is a reputation management and corporate branding specialist and has advised a variety of clients including Chase Manhattan Bank, Ernst & Young, Deutsche Bank Securities and Visa USA.
