Digital Equipment Corp. worldwide ad manager Jean Manasian has rejoined Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos to help build and service a roster of technology accounts that now includes Nortel Networks.
Manasian rejected an offer by Compaq Computer Corp., which merged with DEC, to relocate to Houston and oversee advertising for the combined companies. She helped develop the current “Q” campaign for Compaq with DDB Needham in New York.
Now a senior vice president at Hill, Holliday, Manasian will run at least two accounts and help deliver international capabilities to clients that need them, according to Manasian’s new boss, Terry Carleton, who serves as executive vice president and group account manager.
At least 25 percent of the agency’s overall billings of $650 million are gleaned from high-tech clients such as Advanced Micro Devices, NEC Technologies, Wang Global and recent addition.
