NEW YORK The fifth agency competing to handle creative duties on Pfizer’s Lipitor is Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, according to sources. Estimated billings are $60-80 million.

The New York office of Hill, Holliday is competing against four other New York shops that sources previously identified as independent mcgarrybowen, WPP Group’s JWT, Publicis Groupe’s The Kaplan Thaler Group and the incumbent, Omnicom Group’s Merkley + Partners [Adweek Online, July 5].

Hill, Holliday declined comment, as did a client representative.
