Stacia Goddard was named evp, managing director of relationship marketing at Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos' New York office.
In the newly created post, Goddard, 37, steers business development for direct marketing, database management, direct response and interactive consulting. She oversees about 16 staffers and leads development of the agen cy's integrated business model.
Goddard was drawn to Hill, Holliday by its philosophy of having integrated services under one roof. "A lot of agencies can pick up the phone and call all kinds of troops, which provide any number of services," she said. "But the client won't get the most [overall] care. … We have all the resources here that we need to service a client's business."
Previously, Goddard was a partner and new business strategist at Pickholz Tweedy & Co. in New York for five-plus years. At Pickholz, absorbed in January by Hill, Holliday parent IPG, she led work on E*Trade and Arch Wireless.
Prior to that, she was vp and management su pervisor at the former Ammirati Puris Lintas in New York, working on Compaq, and earlier was at the former Ogilvy & Mather Direct, working on Oxford Health Plans, among others.
Her efforts on financial-services, communications and healthcare ac counts helped lead to her hire, said Laurel Rossi, chief integration officer at Boston-based Hill, Holliday. "She had a lot of experience with the things that we work with," said Rossi, to whom Goddard reports.
Hill, Holliday's key New York clients include Verizon Wireless and PricewaterhouseCoopers. The office has about 130 staffers.
