As the Universal Pictures flick Babe: Pig in the City readies to hit movie theaters nationwide, the indeterminable little pig that could and his animal friends have been utilizing more than just traditional movie trailers to sell their story.
Since late last month, the Babe Bookmobile Tour has been hitting cities across America, including Chicago, New York and Dallas. Created by event marketing shop RPMC in Calabasas, Calif., the farm on wheels features storytelling, interactive games and giveaways to promote children's literacy and heighten anticipation for the film, which will debut Thanksgiving weekend.
The tour makes its final stop at Universal City's Citywalk on Nov. 25.
Hewlett-Packard is co-sponsoring the tour and providing equipment for the "Picture Yourself with Babe" exhibit.
RPMC also created a traveling road show exhibit for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Bureau earlier this year.
