BOSTON Havas today closed out a tumultuous year of management changes and account losses by reporting 2005 revenue of approximately $1.75 billion, a 2 percent drop compared to its performance in 2004.

The French holding company said it tallied revenue of slightly more than $500 million in the fourth quarter, a decrease of about 1 percent from the same period a year ago.

In organic growth terms, excluding fluctuations in currency rates, revenue improved 2.5 and 2 percent in 2005 and the fourth quarter, respectively.
