BOSTON Interpeak has tapped Hart-Boillot as its lead public relations agency for North America.
"Hart-Boillot has proven its capabilities in both technical and consumer arenas," said Ulf Olofsson, marketing director at the Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of networking and systems security products and services. "We partnered with them because their technical skills are what we were looking for, yet their breadth of experience in other markets makes them well rounded and highly capable of differentiating Interpeak from its competitors."
The Waltham, Mass.-based independent shop won the business after a review of undisclosed agencies.
"Interpeak is working at the embedded level, making software used for networking and security in devices we take for granted, such as mobile phones and portable computers," said Nicolas Boillot, president of Hart-Boillot. "They needed an agency that could understand their complex messages and communicate with a very sophisticated audience."
Hart-Boillot will mainly handle media relations for Interpeak with the business, technology and consumer press. The agency's roster also includes Harvard University and Hewlett-Packard.
