DALLAS GSD&M has named Russell Lambrecht and John Trahar group creative directors, the agency said.

Prior to their promotions at the Austin, Texas, shop, Lambrecht and Trahar previously served as copywriter and art director, respectively. The creative team has worked together on the agency's largest client, SBC Communications, for almost two years.

During Lambrecht's six-year tenure at GSD&M, he has directed accounts such as Kohler, Southwest, Land Rover and the PGA Tour. He previously spent six years at DDB in Dallas.

Trahar also joined the shop six years ago, initially assigned to SBC Wireless. He later became a creative director on the Brinker Macaroni Grill and Pennzoil accounts. After graduating from the Portfolio Center in Atlanta, Trahar was at New York's Ogilvy + Mather for six years.

Both Cannes and The One Show have honored Lambrecht and Trahar's creative work. They were also recognized for their collaboration on SBC's "Sleepy Groves" TV spot, which won a national Addy.
