CHICAGO Pacific Wine Partners has tapped Group One to handle a new product introduction valued at $2 million, according to the agency.
The Minneapolis shop said it bested three undisclosed California agencies for the business.
"It just goes to show that expertise in marketing wine doesn't have to only reside on the West Coast," said Mark Lenss, partner at Group One, in a statement. "We had the research, the strategic insight and the creative work to prove we could create and launch this brand."
The independent agency will launch a new wine in the under $10 category for the Gonzales, Calif., client. The shop's presentation showcased insight into the target's purchase and consumption habits, and the competitive category growth over the past couple years, Lenss said.
