Continuing its push to elevate top talent, TBWA Worldwide has promoted Neal Grossman to chief financial officer, North America.
Grossman, previously CFO at TBWA\Chiat\Day in Los Angeles, reports to Tom Carroll, promoted to president of the Americas earlier this month [Adweek, April 9], and Jonathan Ramsden, CFO of TBWA Worldwide.
Grossman, 45, joined the Los Angeles shop in 1987 as corporate controller and saw the office grow from $250 million in billings to more than $1.2 billion. He also aided in expansions in Dallas, Chicago, Washington and Jacksonville. Earlier he was an audit supervisor at Coopers & Lybrand, where his clients included the Emmy Awards, Arco and Starkist Foods.
The promotion continues a series at TBWA Worldwide, where within weeks Laurie Coots and Carl Johnson were named to worldwide posts as chief marketing officer and chief operating officer, respectively.
