BOSTON Groppi Advertising Design has teamed with copywriter Rich Hannon, looking to partner with the 25-year advertising veteran on various client projects, according to agency president Ken Groppi.

"The goal is to be able to provide more complete, cost-effective services to clients that prefer long-term, project-basis relationships," Groppi said.

Hannon, who bills himself as Cogent Creative (although at present he is that operation's sole employee), has worked for Allen & Gerritsen, Trinity Communications and other Boston-area shops.

The Plymouth, Mass., agency looks to Hannon to strengthen its credentials in traditional advertising and branding, Groppi said.

Hannon has recently teamed with Groppi on efforts for the Ground Round, Massachusetts Independent Insurance Agents and Spang Animation Studios. For the latter, Groppi assisted Spang with a major rebranding (the company had been known as Northeast Animation) that included a range of corporate identity assignments.
