Gray & Gray in Albuquerque, N.M., is test marketing its first campaign for the U.S. Census Bureau, targeting Native Americans as part of the $100 million Census 2000 advertising account.
Gray & Gray, one of five shops sharing the account spearheaded by Young & Rubicam in New York, has launched television, radio and print work that is taking a “test run” in the Menominee Reservation in Wisconsin, according to agency president and co-owner Michael Gray. Billings for the account have amounted to more than $2 million to date, he said.
The tagline for the spots, “Generations are counting on this.
