SAN FRANCISCO Omnicom Group’s Goodby, Silverstein & Partners here has hired Derek Robson, managing director of BBH London, as a joint managing partner, to eventually replace president Colin Probert, agency principals said today.
Robson will join Goodby’s Robert Riccardi, director of account services, in the role of managing partner.
Robson has been called one of Europe’s brightest young advertising stars and this is considering a hiring coup, the agency said.
“This is incredibly exciting to us,” said Jeff Goodby, co-chairman.
