Ogilvy & Mather walked off with the prized utensil at the 18th annual Oyster Orgy gumbo cook-off at Shenanigan’s Cafƒ & Bar last month.
Proceeds from the event benefitted Ad 2’s Robin G. Mueller Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Houston Food Bank.
Six teams representing local advertising, marketing and media organiza-tions served up their best gumbo in a contest judged by their peers, including Audrey Gilbreath of Gilbreath Communications.
Also of note: members of the Houston Chronicle group earned a best team theme award for donning clothes reminiscent of disco club Studio 54.
