Michael Browner, executive director of media and marketing operations at General Motors, will retire effective April 1, the $2 billion advertiser said last week. Betsy Lazar, general director of media operations, will assume Browner’s responsibilities. Browner, 61, spent 18 years at Detroit-based GM and almost two decades at various shops.
