Charles Schwab & Co./S.F., the country's largest discount brokerage firm, has selected Goldberg Moser O'Neill/S.F. to develop advertising for a new, undisclosed product under development. Schwab talked to six S.F. firms, but did not hold a formal review. Emory Winship, vp of production development for Schwab, would put no value on the size of the account, saying that because it is a development project, it would not represent 'major billings.' . . . Air New Zealand has consolidated its advertising with Bowes Dentsu & Partners/L.A. The agency began working with the airline last year and was appointed direct marketing agency last month. Now all consumer and trade advertising is consolidated at BD&P. Billings: $3 million-plus . . . The Connecticut Toyota Dealers Advertising Association awarded its $2 million account to Saatchi & Saatchi/Pacific, bringing to 26 the number of Toyota dealerships handled by the Torrance, Calif.-based shop. . . . Serius Corp., Salt Lake City, chose local shop Penna Powers Cutting and Haynes' technology unit to handle its estimated $350,000 account without a review. Serius hadn't advertised recently; Dahlin Smith White/Salt Lake City was its previous shop.
