General Motors pulled its advertising from the Los Angeles Times, citing repeated “factual errors and misrepresentations” in the Tribune Co.-owned newspaper’s coverage of the automaker, a GM representative said. She said it wasn’t the first time GM has pulled advertising over coverage, but acknowledged it is a “very rare occurrence.” How much GM spends on advertising in the Times could not be determined.
