CHICAGO General Motors has pulled its advertising from the Los Angeles Times, citing repeated “factual errors and misrepresentations” in the Tribune Co.-owned newspaper’s coverage of the automaker, a GM representative said.

“We’ve been getting strongly voiced objections from our dealers in California,” on the Times‘ coverage over a lengthy period, said GM representative Ryndee Carney. She said GM had met with the Times to discuss its concerns. She declined to be specific about what stories provoked GM’s action.
