BOSTON Glen Group said it has been selected to redesign the Web site of Pearl Izumi, a global supplier of running and biking apparel and accessories.
The site will be redesigned to capitalize on functionality, while weaving the Colorado-based client's "earth friendly" philosophy and experience throughout, and to drive sales through an improved online shopping experience, according to the independent agency in North Conway, N.H.
Visitors will be able to find products and local Pearl Izumi dealers through an extensive dealer locator, shop online, and keep track of their purchase history.
In addition to the site's extensive product information, broken down by gender and category, site users will also be able to find out more about Pearl Izumi's environmental initiatives, nonprofit endeavors and sponsored athletes. Pearl Izumi will also offer e-mail newsletters to site visitors.
The project budget was not disclosed.
