Failing the state’s tough emissions test doesn’t mean cash-strapped drivers are left on their own to repair or replace their cars.

A little-known program that gives low- and middle-income residents financial assistance in such cases is the subject of new advertising by Glass McClure.

The Sacramento shop won the $4 million business from the California Department of Consumer Affairs’ Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) following a review that included Los Angeles agencies Wong Doody and GMMB and Sacramento’s Runyon Saltzman & Einhorn.
