Getting Your Web Rewards The ad world may be flooded with award competitions. However, the Web is one area that is yet to be saturated.

Recognizing this, a Southern California group is hosting its second annual Source Cool Site Awards, an opportunity for advertising agencies and clients to receive recognition for their Web creations.
Sponsored by the San Diego Daily Transcript, the San Diego Source, Yahoo! and the University of California at San Diego, the awards show celebrates the accomplishments of those who use the Web as a marketing tool.
Among the award categories is coolest Web banner ad/campaign designed by an advertising agency, graphic arts firm or design firm. There is also a category reserved for California-based clients and one for San Diego companies.
Winners will receive a plaque, $200 and the right to display the Source award logo.
Companies and ad agencies and can enter the competition over the Internet at www.sddt.com/awards. Entries must be received by Aug. 31.
