Museum of Science Selects Shop to Succeed Houston Herstek

BOSTON–The Museum of Science has assigned its high-profile account to Gearon Hoffman following a review. The client estimated the annual budget at $1.5 million.
Ingalls Advertising and Cohn Godley Norwood, both in Boston, also participated. A fourth contender was Goransson & Davis, a joint effort by former Arnold Communications creative staffers Doug Goransson and Dick Davis, said Cynthia Mackey, the museum’s vice president of marketing.
Gearon Hoffman will create a mixed-media campaign touting the museum’s upcoming IMAX motion picture about Mount Everest, said agency president Bob Hoffman.
Television, radio, print and billboard executions, some of which were presented as speculative work during the pitch, will begin appearing in the next few weeks, Hoffman said.
