NEW YORK Frank Gallon, chief financial officer and chief operations officer at R/GA, has left the Interpublic agency to take a similar role at Digitas' Modem Media.
Gallon, 44, a 10-year R/GA veteran, began at corporate controller, before moving into his most recent role as CFO and COO. Prior to joining R/GA, he held controller positions at Gloria Vanderbilt Apparel and USA Classic.
At Norwalk, Conn.-based Modem Media, Gallon will be in charge of corporate controls, finances and operations. He begins at the agency today, and reports to Martin Reidy, Modem Media's president.
Reidy and Gallon worked together at R/GA until 2003, when Reidy left the New York agency to join Modem Media.
An R/GA representative said the agency is considering candidates to replace Gallon.
