NEW YORK -- G2 Worldwide and Visual Communications Group, both divisions of Grey Global Group, are combining their services in brand development and design consultancy and corporate and investor communications. The new company will operate under the G2 name. Terms of the consolidation were undisclosed.
In a statement, Steven Gilliatt, president of G2 Worldwide, New York, said, "The addition of VCG means we can now offer expert consultancy in the critical investor and corporate communications areas, at an equally high standard to that of our highly specialized teams in brand strategy and positioning, corporate identity, packaging design and retail and environmental branding."
Howard Breindel, CEO and president of VCG, will become senior partner business development at G2, which is based in New York and has 32 offices in 30 countries.
Breindel will report to Gilliatt, who reports to Joe Celia, CEO of G2 Worldwide Inc.
For 15 years, VCG has offered B2B communications and design. The combined entity's clients now include Absolut, BellSouth, Kroll, Krups, Masterfoods and Procter & Gamble, Tellium, FPIC Insurance Group, Bentley Systems, and Inarch.
