NEW YORK Fusebox has launched an e-commerce-enabled Web site for The Philadelphia Zoo. With the new site, America’s first zoo aims to broaden its marketing, educational and fundraising endeavors and reach a wider audience.

“The zoo wanted to be able to reach all their audiences and be able to offer tickets and other opportunities like online donations,” said Laura Michaels, Fusebox partner and vp of creative services.

The New York-based i-shop attempted to appeal to both children and adults by creating a sophisticated, yet fun Web site that used vivid colors, bold typography and numerous photographs.
