NEW YORK Cliff Freeman and Partners’ first work for Baskin-Robbins celebrates the joy of eating ice cream with the tagline, “Yay!” This 15-second spot, “Test,” opens with a young girl crying at her grandfather’s side. When he asks her what’s wrong, she tells him that her mother promised she would take her to Baskin-Robbins for a Reese’s shake if she got an A at school. Grandpa doesn’t hesitate. He changes the F to an A on her math test and leaps out of his chair, calling back, “See you in the car!” The New York-based agency won creative chores on the account in January following a review.
