Freed Advertising in Houston topped four agencies to land the Houston-area account of American Residential Services of Texas.
First-year account billings for American Residential Services (ARS), a home electric, plumbing, heating, cooling and appliance repair company, are $1.6 million.
ARS retail sales manager Lawrence Barris said he reviewed Rapp Collins of Dallas and the Houston offices of McCann-Erickson, Bates Southwest and Ogilvy & Mather before naming Freed.
“We liked Freed’s responsiveness and its size,” Barris said, adding that the agency has handled some project assignments in the past.
