Fox Broadcasting Co. is no longer flirting with “Fling,” the Paramount Network Television drama that received a 13-episode commitment from Fox.

The romantic dramedy (formerly known as “When I Grow Up”) was given an early order by Fox in September to have the episodes completed as a hedge against the possibility of a writers strike. With “Fling,” sources said Fox was unhappy with the creative direction of the show about two private eyes who specialize in investigating cheating spouses.
