A cow’s brain purchased from a local slaughterhouse stars in a direct mailer crafted by Adams & Knight to promote the Advertising Club of Connecticut’s “Perfect Pitch” event, scheduled for Nov. 14 in Rocky Hill, Conn.

The piece shows a well-dressed attendee with a drink in one hand and a plate of cow’s brain in the other. “Join us for drinks, appetizers and a rare look inside the minds of your prospects,” begins the copy, promising that the presentation will help teach attendees how successful agencies prevail in new-business pitches.
