Food Network Picks Margeotes

NEW YORK The Food Network is poised to award its estimated $5-10 million advertising account to Margeotes Fertitta + Partners after a review, sources said.

The shop bested incumbent GWhiz! Entertainment, CMG Communications, and Ziccardi Partners Frierson Mee, all New York. Adam Rockmore, vp of marketing for the Food Network, could not immediately be reached for comment, nor could Linda Ong of Truth Consulting in New York, who handled the review.

The Food Network broadcasts such cooking shows as “Iron Chef,” “Essence of Emeril,” and “Chocolate with Jacques Torres.”
