DALLAS -- Advance Auto Parts has awarded its estimated $55 million advertising account to Fogarty Klein Monroe, according to sources.
The review was cut down to Fogarty of Houston and Cramer-Krasselt in Orlando, Fla., in late August.
Semifinalists in the review for the Roanoke, Va.-based automotive chain's advertising business included Barkley Evergreen & Partners in Kansas City, Mo., Fletcher Martin Ewing in Atlanta and Martin/Williams in Minneapolis. The Richmond, Va.-based incumbent, The Martin Agency, was not involved in the competition.
Advance ranks as the nation's No. 2 auto-parts chain, behind AutoZone of Memphis, Tenn.,with 2,400 locations in 38 states.
