Frierson Mee + Kraft has been named the agency of record for Midori, the green melon liqueur imported by Allied Domecq Spirits, USA, after a review of undisclosed agencies. Billings are estimated at $5-10 million, sources said.
The review included other New York agencies and featured presentations by four other finalists, said Jack Shea, client representative. The client’s most recent agency of record, Lois, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in New York late last year.
Agency president John Frierson said Midori targets young women, fitting well with the shop, which has recently launched female-oriented campaigns for clients such as Aldo and Maidenform.
