Allenson Group has found that the way to some cable TV operators may be through their fists.
Asked by Court TV to tout its programming changes, the New York shop has been sending hundreds of 5-foot-tall “Bop-A-Lawyer” punching bags, with images of lawyers on them,
to cable operators nationwide. On each bag is printed, “Even we get tired of seeing lawyers 24 hours a day,” as well as programming and ratings information.
While Court TV’s regular shop is Griffin Bacal, New York, Ellenson president Richard Ellenson said Court TV initiated the effort because it appreciated his shop’s work.
