BOSTON Bank of America, which last week confirmed talking to holding companies about its estimated $600 million marketing account, said Anne Finucane has been assigned expanded duties.

Finucane, 53, a corporate executive vice president and Northeast president at BofA who oversees its public policy decisions and charitable foundation, will now head up corporate communications functions, though she will not be part of the marketing department and her new title has not been determined, a bank representative said.
