NEW YORK Fortunoff is close to choosing an agency to handle its estimated $5-10 million account, sources said.

It appears that the incumbent, Ziccardi Partners Frierson Mee in New York, is not participating in the review, which began in January. The finalists—three to four agencies, said a source—made creative presentations last week.

Fortunoff, based in Uniondale, N.Y., sells jewelry, china, crystal, furniture and silverware. Last year, through November, the company spent more than $4 million in measured media, according to CMR.
