BOSTON The Fenton Group has picked up work from global apparel manufacturer CTM, Newport Coffee Traders, Turfer Sportswear, the American Cancer Society’s New England division and regional law firm Little Bulman Medeiros & Whitney.

The Providence, R.I., shop was formed last month when Josh Fenton left Trion Communications to form his agency. Several of his new clients—Newport Coffee, Turfer and the American Cancer Society—had been with Trion, also in Providence.

Fenton joined Trion in early 2001. With partners Frank McMahon and David Preston, he developed campaigns for clients such as the American Cancer Society, Annie’s Macaroni & Cheese and R.I.
